This is a full custom key — it is not a key case and not a key cover. It replaces your original BMW key shell completely, giving your key a brand new factory-style painted finish built directly into the key itself, not an add-on layer.
Unlike a silicone or leather cover that simply wraps around your existing key, this custom key becomes the new outer body of your key. The color, the "50 Jahre BMW M" or M Performance / Competition graphics, and the glossy finish are molded into the shell — so there is no bulky cover added on top, and the key keeps its original slim factory shape.
